By creating a vendor listing (free or paid) on Devoted New Jersey, you agree to these Terms & Conditions. Please read them carefully before completing your registration.
1. Agreement to Terms
By creating and maintaining a vendor listing on the Devoted New Jersey Vendor Directory (“DNJ”), whether free or paid, you (“Vendor”) agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. All listings are subject to approval by Devoted New Jersey to ensure alignment with our community standards and commitment to serving inclusive, quality-focused wedding professionals in New Jersey.
Devoted New Jersey reserves the right to refuse, suspend, or remove any listing at our sole discretion.
2. Listing Types & Billing
Free Listings
- No payment required
- Basic directory presence with limited features
- May be suspended or removed at any time for violations of these terms
- Can be upgraded to a paid tier at any time
- Subject to the same community standards and removal policies as paid listings
Monthly Paid Listings
- Billed automatically every 30 days from the initial purchase date
- Will continue to auto-renew each month until canceled by the vendor
- Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing cycle
Annual Paid Listings
- Billed annually on the purchase anniversary date
- Will auto-renew unless canceled at least 14 days before the renewal date
- You will receive a reminder email 30 days prior to your renewal date
All payments are processed securely through our payment provider. By subscribing to a paid listing, you authorize Devoted New Jersey to charge your payment method on file for the applicable subscription fee.
3. Features & Benefits Subject to Change
The features, benefits, and promotional opportunities included in each listing tier (Free, Pearl, Emerald, Diamond, Pro Partner) are subject to change at any time.
Devoted New Jersey reserves the right to:
- Add, remove, or modify features within any listing tier
- Change the frequency or format of promotional content (social posts, newsletter inclusions, blog features)
- Update the number of categories, images, or word count allowed per tier
- Adjust how listings are displayed or ranked in search results
Vendors will be notified of significant changes to their tier benefits via email at least 14 days before changes take effect. Minor updates (such as design changes or editorial process improvements) may be implemented without prior notice.
Pricing changes: If we increase pricing for your tier, existing subscribers will be notified at least 30 days before renewal and will have the opportunity to cancel before the new rate applies. Locked-in Founding Vendor rates (for those who joined before March 31, 2026) will not increase.
4. Cancellation Policy
Free Listings
- Can be removed at any time by emailing [email protected]
- Vendors may also request to pause or reactivate a free listing at any time
Paid Listings
To cancel a paid listing, email [email protected] or complete our vendor cancellation form (provided in renewal reminder emails).
Monthly Listings:
- Remain active until the end of the current 30-day billing cycle
- Will not renew after cancellation is processed
Annual Listings:
- Must be canceled at least 14 days before the renewal date to avoid being charged for the next year
- If canceled mid-year, no refunds will be issued for the remaining subscription period
Automatic Downgrade to Free Listing
If you cancel a paid listing, your listing will automatically revert to a free basic listing unless you specifically request complete removal.
No refunds will be provided once a payment has been processed, including for early cancellations or removal due to violations of these terms.
5. Refund Policy
All sales are final. No refunds will be issued once a payment has been processed.
This includes but is not limited to:
- Early cancellations (monthly or annual)
- Listings removed due to violations of community standards or conduct
- Non-payment or chargebacks
- Dissatisfaction with listing performance or results
- Changes in business operations or closure
- Changes to tier features or benefits
No partial or prorated refunds will be given under any circumstances.
If a listing is removed by Devoted New Jersey for any violation of these terms, no refunds will be issued for any remaining subscription value (monthly or annual).
6. Listing Standards & Content Requirements
Vendor Responsibilities
All vendors (free and paid) must:
- Provide accurate, honest, and complete business information
- Maintain current contact information and service details
- Respond to inquiries from couples in a timely and professional manner
- Honor pricing and services as listed in their profile
Content Editing
Devoted New Jersey reserves the right to edit listings for:
- Clarity and readability
- Formatting consistency
- Search engine optimization (SEO)
- Compliance with directory standards
We will not alter the substantive meaning of your content without notifying you.
Prohibited Content
Listings (free or paid) may not include:
- False, misleading, or fraudulent information
- Stolen images or content that violates copyright
- Hate speech, discriminatory language, or offensive material
- Sexually explicit or inappropriate content
- Links to malicious websites or spam
7. Terms of Removal
Devoted New Jersey reserves the right to suspend or remove any listing (free or paid) at any time, without prior notice, for any of the following reasons:
Violation of Community Standards
- Discrimination based on sexual orientation, gender identity, race, religion, disability, or any other protected characteristic
- Refusal to serve LGBTQ+ couples or other marginalized communities
- Harassment, bullying, or abusive behavior toward couples or other vendors
Pattern of Poor Conduct
- Repeated one-star reviews or documented complaints from multiple clients
- Ghosting clients (failure to respond to inquiries or fulfill contracted services)
- Bait-and-switch pricing tactics or hidden fees
- Failure to deliver services as contracted
Misleading or Fraudulent Information
- False credentials, certifications, or business qualifications
- Fake reviews or testimonials
- Stolen or misrepresented images
- Misrepresentation of services, availability, or pricing
Offensive or Inappropriate Content
- Hate speech or discriminatory messaging
- Sexually explicit material
- Content that violates our community values or standards
Non-Payment (Paid Listings Only)
- Failure to pay subscription fees
- Chargebacks or disputed charges
Harm to the Devoted NJ Community
- Any conduct that damages the reputation, safety, or integrity of Devoted New Jersey or its members
- Soliciting vendors or couples to leave the platform
- Engaging in activities that undermine the mission or values of Devoted New Jersey
No Refunds for Removed Listings
If a paid listing is removed for any of the above reasons, no refunds will be issued for any remaining subscription value (monthly or annual).
Appeal Process
Vendors whose listings are removed for violations may appeal the decision by emailing [email protected] within 14 days of removal. Devoted New Jersey will review appeals on a case-by-case basis but is not obligated to reinstate any listing.
8. No Guarantees of Results
Devoted New Jersey provides marketing and visibility services only. We do not guarantee:
- A specific number of inquiries, leads, or bookings
- Revenue or income from your listing
- Inclusion in promotional content (blog features, social media posts, etc.)
- Placement in search results or directory rankings
- That tier features will remain unchanged
Your success on the platform depends on many factors including the quality of your work, responsiveness, pricing, market demand, and competition. Results will vary.
9. Inclusion in Promotional Content
Paid listings may be considered for:
- Blog features and articles
- Social media posts (Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest)
- Styled shoots and vendor collaborations
- Email newsletters and vendor spotlights
Inclusion in promotional content is not guaranteed and is based on editorial discretion, relevance, brand alignment, and availability. Devoted New Jersey is not obligated to feature any vendor and may select vendors for promotional opportunities at our sole discretion.
Free listings are not included in promotional content unless specifically selected by Devoted New Jersey for editorial purposes.
10. Communication & Marketing
By maintaining a listing (free or paid) on Devoted New Jersey, you agree to receive:
- Email communications related to your listing status
- Renewal reminders and billing notifications (paid listings only)
- Vendor opportunities and community updates
- Occasional promotional emails about Devoted NJ services
You may opt out of non-essential communications at any time by clicking “unsubscribe” in any email or by contacting [email protected].
11. Intellectual Property
Your Content
You retain ownership of all images, text, and content you submit to your vendor listing. By submitting content, you grant Devoted New Jersey a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to use, display, and promote your content in connection with the Devoted New Jersey platform, including but not limited to:
- Displaying your content on the website and in search results
- Featuring your content in social media posts, blog articles, and newsletters
- Using your content in promotional materials for Devoted New Jersey
Devoted New Jersey Content
All content on the Devoted New Jersey website, including text, graphics, logos, design elements, and the Devoted NJ butterfly logo, are the property of Devoted New Jersey and are protected by copyright and trademark law. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use any Devoted NJ content without prior written permission.
12. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Devoted New Jersey shall not be liable for:
- Any lost revenue, bookings, or business opportunities
- Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform
- Any errors, omissions, or inaccuracies in listing content
- Any disputes between vendors and couples
- Technical issues, downtime, or service interruptions
- Changes to tier features or benefits
Your use of the Devoted New Jersey platform is at your own risk. We provide the service “as is” without warranties of any kind, express or implied.
13. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Devoted New Jersey, its owner, employees, and affiliates from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from:
- Your use of the platform
- Your violation of these Terms & Conditions
- Any content you submit to your listing
- Any disputes with couples or other vendors
14. Modifications to Terms
Devoted New Jersey reserves the right to update or modify these Terms & Conditions at any time. Vendors will be notified of significant changes via email at least 14 days before changes take effect.
Your continued use of the platform after changes are made constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
15. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the State of New Jersey, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be resolved in the courts of New Jersey.

17. Acceptance of Terms
By creating a listing (free or paid) and checking the agreement box on the registration/order form, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms & Conditions, including:
- The no-refund policy (for paid listings)
- Terms of removal and grounds for suspension (free and paid)
- No guarantees of business results
- That tier features and benefits are subject to change
- Communication preferences
If you do not agree to these terms, do not create a vendor listing.
